IAAF WORLD COMBINED EVENTS CHALLENGE 2004

TECHNICAL RULES
1. The IAAF World Combined Events Challenge is an annual event for Decathlon (Men) and Heptathlon (Women)

2. The scoring opportunities will be:

2.1- Individual Meetings: JAAF Permit

Desenzano (ITA) —08/09 May -
Hypo in Gòtzis (AUT) — 29/30 May - IAAF Permit
Arles (FRA) — 05/06 June - IAAF Permit
Open German Championships in Ratingen (GER) 26/27 June — IAAF Permit
Decastar in Talence (FRA) — 18/19 September - IAAF Permit

2.2 Other international competitions

3. Ranking will be based on the addition of the best totals achieved by one atlhete in any three of the above competitions.
4. For the competitions Listed under Point 2, the following conditions must be respected so that the scoring can be
taken into account:
i) a full automatic timing system must be in operation;
ii) at least six doping controls, three for men and three for women shall be carried out.


Prize money will be awarded:
1° place:	30,000 $
2° place:	20,000 $
3° place:	15,000 $
4° place:	10,000 $
